Activités spéléo à l'Aven d'Orgnac [sur réservation]

The Aven d'Orgnac offers caving initiations all year round, supervised by a passionate, state-certified guide.

* The Panoramic Descent which lasts about 1 hour sees you abseiling down the natural vertical entrance of the cave (Aven). A journey 50 meters underground as the first explorer of the cave did one morning in August 1935.

* The Underground Vertigo – which, when combined with a rappel descent, becomes The Combo! – is an aerial course, a "via-cordata" (a via ferrata made of ropes) in the cave's ceilings, 30 meters high, culminating in a spectacular zip line (approximately 3 hours later)! Adrenaline guaranteed, all while respecting the cave's natural environment: there are no chemical anchors on the walls…

* As for the Spéléominot trail, it is specially designed for 7-12 year olds and set up in parts of the cave not revealed to visitors. Sparkling stalagmites and stalactites, blocks to climb, discovery of new hidden rooms, mini via-cordata… also allow visitors to understand the stages of the formation of this natural jewel and the challenges of its preservation.
