What is canyoning?

Travel along a river cut through gorges, visiting parts of this river only accessible through the canyon. Waterfalls, slides, abseiling, jumps (never mandatory), whitewater swimming and walking follow one another depending on the obstacles.
This activity is accessible to everyone, provided you are not afraid of water and are in good physical condition.
It is also the local culture, the geology, the fauna, the flora….



Equipment provided!

2-piece neoprene wetsuits (5 mm) and neoprene booties. We use wetsuits and booties in very good condition, and systematically clean them after each outing with an antibacterial cleaner.
High-grip canyoning shoes, harness, carabiners, figure-eight descender
Double lanyard equipped with carabiners
Adjustable canyon helmet
Waterproof containers and bags
Collective equipment (ropes etc.)
The equipment supplied complies with CE standards

And depending on the weather: top, gloves...
The little extra: snacks provided. Transport available on site.


Warning :

Canyoning is a sporting activity that combines walking, swimming, and, depending on the canyon, jumping (never mandatory) and abseiling. It requires you to be comfortable with water, in good shape, and not have any serious health problems. If you wear glasses, a cord can be provided.


Insurance:

It is preferable that you have insurance in case of accident, however, in addition, Lionel Rias takes out professional Civil Liability insurance.
