Via Ferrata intermédiaire – Le pont du Diable – 1/2 journée – Face Sud

Crossing the Ardèche from one bank to the other has always required inventiveness from the locals. First, by fording, then by building bridges, and finally by installing cables and gondolas, using a variety of ingenious techniques. It is in this spirit that the Thueyts via ferrata continues the region's history.

Difficulty :
Ideal for a first approach to the activity, this via ferrata is of an intermediate level. It requires a good level of physical fitness. No experience with via ferrata is necessary or required.

From 10 years old for sporty children.

Duration: Allow between 2 and 30 hours for this half-day.
We provide :

Harnesses, helmets, ropes, duo roping, carabiners, pulleys and double shock-absorbing lanyards.
Predictable :
• A small backpack
• A bottle of water

• Cycling gloves (if you have them)
• A small snack: like a cereal bar
Access and meeting places

From Vallon Pont d'Arc allow approximately 1 hour:
Head towards Ruoms, then Aubenas. Once you reach Aubenas, head towards Le Puy, then Lalevade d'Ardèche, then Pont de Labeaume, then Thueyts. Before the village of Thueyts, turn left towards Pont du diable.
