Expositions à la galerie Seibel : "L'Odyssée de la Lumière" de Bud Wehrheim
Discover "The Odyssey of Light," a series of paintings by Bud Wehrheim, an American artist trained in Baltimore, a student of Zadkine, Survage, Léger, and Lhote. Between Paris, Greece, and the Ardèche region, he draws his inspiration from the Mediterranean light.
From July onwards, for three months, presentation of paintings from the series "The Odyssey of Light" by Bud Wehrheim (1910-2001).
An American artist born in St. Louis, USA, he studied at the Baltimore School for the Arts until 1932 before traveling to Europe. He worked with Ossip Zadkine and then became a student of Léopold Survage. He participated in numerous exhibitions.
In France, he took courses at the Académie de Montmartre under Fernand Léger and André Lhote.
From 1961, he divided his time between Paris and Greece, from where he drew inspiration for "The Odyssey of Light". In 1976, he settled in the Ardèche region where he lived, worked and exhibited until 2001.

On the contemporary painting side, the Seibel gallery is pleased this summer to once again host the imaginary and refreshing landscapes of Patricia Delorme.
A new artist has joined the gallery: Dan Casado, whose dreamlike world is sure to amaze you.
Also on display will be the pastels of Claude Carvin, precise and delicate, in which one can recognize landscapes of the Ardèche.
We will finally be able to admire the stone sculptures of Laurent Quinkal.
Also worth seeing and revisiting are new works by permanent artists: Mireille Chevin, Ellen, Sharham Nabati, Alain Ponçon, Isabelle Quintana, Heide Rose, and Louis Treserras.
