Welcome to 'Mas de Carlas'.

We have converted the house into a modern cottage, harmoniously combining stone, wood, and iron. The decoration of each room is carefully thought out, the furniture selected for its quality. The layout of the spacious bedrooms respects the privacy of the occupants, and the bedding is chosen for its great comfort. The large and bright living space, with its large bay windows, is naturally open to the outdoors.

You can relax in the shade of the covered terrace or prefer that of the century-old oaks and enjoy a wide, unobstructed view of the surrounding nature. You can also enjoy the sun by the private swimming pool, which is fully fenced and closed by a security gate. A game of pétanque, on the grounds near the house, will liven up your evenings.

If you want to explore the surrounding area, the house is ideally located between Aubenas, Largentière and Vallon Pont d'Arc.
Discover cave art at the "Chauvet Cave 2", an exact replica of the famous Chauvet Cave, which has been a huge success since its opening in April 2015.
Canoe down the Ardèche Gorges through a protected area of ​​wild beauty, classified as a Nature Reserve. Over time, the Ardèche River has carved out a magnificent limestone canyon spanning more than 30 kilometers, with the entrance being the 80-meter-high Pont d'Arc Natural Arch.
Visit the many Ardèche caves: the Aven d'Orgnac, the Aven Marzal, the Madeleine cave, the Cocalière cave.
Stroll through the streets of the characterful villages: Vinezac amidst the vineyards and olive trees, a fortified village with a very strong medieval character, Balazuc perched on a cliff overlooking the river, Voguë, a medieval village built in an amphitheater in the cliff dominated by its 12th century castle, Labeaume with its narrow cobbled streets and its beach on the river...
Explore the Ardèche mid-mountains by climbing Mont Gerbier des Joncs, a volcanic mountain peak rising to 1551 meters, at the foot of which the Loire River has its source. And go swimming in the exceptionally pure waters of Lake Issarlès, a natural crater lake covering 97 hectares and located at an altitude of 1000 meters.

Cyclists will appreciate the Via Ardèche, which, with its low elevation gain and a former railway line, allows you to peacefully discover the beauty of the landscapes, the surrounding towns, and remarkable sites. It passes through numerous villages with a southern feel and preserved architecture.

The region offers many other outdoor activities: mountain biking, climbing, tree climbing, caving, fishing, hiking, river swimming.

Many markets will allow you to discover regional products, on Wednesdays in Joyeuse, Fridays in Ruoms, Saturdays in Aubenas, Sundays in Vals les bains, etc.
Lovers of fine wines will visit the region's cellars and private estates.
