Rather than list all the restaurants where you can eat vegetarian, we decided to let a true connoisseur speak. Clara, our colleague passionate about meat-free cuisine, shares her favorite, completely subjective spots here. So much the better: that's often how we discover the best restaurants.
The farm
Here, it's the "Ardèche bistronomy" style with a real focus on vegetarian alternatives. The vegetables come from local producers, the service is super friendly, and we always have a vegetarian option that pleases, without feeling like we're being punished. In short, a safe bet when you're going out in a mixed group (veggie + meat eaters).

Galley
It's not 100% veggie, but they know how to pamper vegetarians so well that I'll definitely go back. At La Coquerie, the menu is modern and locavore, and their chef loves creating vegetarian dishes full of flavor and texture. Remember to make a reservation, as it's often full (and for good reason!).
The Greenhouse Café
Well, I'm a huge fan! Café des Serres is a place that's both artistic and committed, where you can eat vegetarian without any hassle. The team offers generous plates, often organic, with a lot of local produce, and frankly, you feel good there. Plus, the view from the terrace is amazing. Go there in the summer; it's the magic of Antraigues, slow food version.

Three Friends Hostel
Here too, it's more "veggie-friendly" than 100% vegetarian, but the team is lovely and always offers a tasty veggie option. A friendly hostel atmosphere, a beautiful terrace in the summer, and lots of local products: it's exactly the kind of place I recommend to my flexitarian friends.
The Duguesclin
You can definitely crave a big, fat pizza or some cheesy ravioli, even if you're a vegetarian. This Albenassian institution offers a huge menu, with more than 80 wood-fired pizzas, salads, local dishes... and plenty to please vegetarians without the hassle.

The 1957
At 1957, there is no 100% veggie menu, but we are very well received when we ask for it, and their vegetarian dishes are really creative, inspired by current bistronomic cuisine. I like to go there at lunchtime, enjoy the pretty terrace by the water, and tell myself that here, we know how to take care of everyone.
Asraya
I love Asraya because it's exactly the kind of place that makes me smile: vegetarian cuisine, full of spices, colors, and sweetness. The dishes change with the seasons, and everything is homemade. And the desserts? Yes, go for it, they're to die for.
The venue is also worth a visit: a converted former cloister where concerts and workshops are held, and a grocery store full of great organic, local, and fair-trade products, not to mention a corner dedicated to arts and crafts. A true haven of Albenassian sweetness.

Black Cat House
Maison Chat Noir is more than just a restaurant: it's an artistic and creative spot that really resonates with me. They regularly offer veggie (and vegan) dishes, with Mediterranean and oriental influences, and they're incredibly fragrant. The decor is stunning, and the cultural program adds that little extra soul that keeps me coming back after dessert. Meow, confirmed.
