Parcours pêche sans tuer : La Volane

Since 1997, this route, which doesn't require any technical skills, is just under a kilometer long and allows you to practice "street fishing" in a charming river populated by a diversity of Mediterranean brown trout as well as whitewater cyprinids.
The Volane, a typical river of the region influenced by the Mediterranean climate, offers us clear and fresh water for most of
the year.
Located at an altitude of 250m, this course in the heart of Vals-les-Bains, on a pebble and sand bed, provides shelter to the queen of the first category, the brown trout. Despite its small size, trout measuring over 50cm emerge from the water every season!
Large river (15 to 20 m) at low altitude made up of a succession of more or less rapid currents, interspersed with three calmer and deeper zones (2,5 m) with easy access and regularly maintained. It can be practiced dry fishing from the start of the season (during the hottest hours of the day).
In May and June, evening shots are often very productive with beautiful hatches. Nymph fishing remains possible throughout the course.
