The Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park invites you to discover sites exceptional for their quality and rarity. These sites offer a true insight into the history of the Earth, and their discovery will lead you to understand human evolution.
The Sucs and Young Volcanoes of Ardèche are an invitation to discover an exceptional territory stretching from the Cévennes Vivaroises to the Ardèche Mountains, following the Ardèche Valley and its many tributaries. This trip, whether guided or self-guided, will allow you to discover some of the most beautiful and famous volcanoes in the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park: the Aizac crater and its lava flow, the Ray-Pic waterfalls where water accompanies the jets of cooled lava, and Mont Gerbier de Jonc, an older volcano with a very distinctive shape.
