Le Château d'Aubenas

After seven years of renovation, Le Château became a Contemporary Art and Heritage Center in 2024. This prestigious site in the south of France invites you to discover its restored spaces through exhibitions, visits, workshops and events.
Aubenas Castle recently completed an ambitious rehabilitation project and opened its doors to the public as a Contemporary Art and Heritage Center in the summer of 2024. After seven years of work, the magnificently restored heritage site is giving new life to this gem of medieval architecture. Now a true meeting place for heritage and contemporary creation, the Château offers a varied program including exhibitions, tours, and cultural events, aiming to make this site a must-see in the Ardèche region.
Each year, several temporary solo and group exhibitions showcase artists of all backgrounds and generations. In parallel, a rich cultural scene enlivens the Château: artist residencies, conferences, concerts, and performances.
A unique place where heritage and art meet!
