Mas Daudet musée & parc

Visit an authentic Ardèche farmhouse, family property of Alphonse Daudet
(French writer 1840-1897). Discover the agricultural life of yesteryear, silkworm breeding as well as the author of Mr. Seguin's goat.

.The Museum: a rich and dynamic visit
Free visit (NL/GER/GB/FR) or guided visit (FR)
Travel back in time by visiting this place with its remarkable architecture and collections.
In the cellars and the work yard, relive the gestures and know-how of our ancestors (distilling alcohol, beating iron, pressing olives, shelling chestnuts, etc.) then in the living silkworm nursery, enter the world of the silkworm, from egg to butterfly. Then in the bourgeois salons, let yourself be guided by Alphonse Daudet: his fine writing, his family, his youthful escapades are all opportunities to discover the author of the Letters from my Windmill (portraits, correspondence, personal effects, etc.).
