Images & Words of Africa Festival
Images & Words of Africa Festival

Every late autumn, the IPA Festival transforms the Ardèche and Drôme regions into a true crossroads of curiosity and encounters. Here, people laugh, marvel, listen to stories from Africa, and discover music and images that resonate with both eyes and heart. Between concerts, exhibitions, storytelling, screenings, and workshops, young and old alike are swept away on a journey where sharing and diversity are never just empty words. A festival that awakens all the senses and leaves lasting memories long after the final applause.

A boost for solidarity without a visa

Keeping the Images and Words of Africa festival alive for 27 years is an adventure made possible by a 100% volunteer team.

For this dynamic of sharing and meeting to continue to resonate in the Ardèche, every bit of support counts.

The Ardèche Afrique Solidaires (AAS) association, a recognized public interest organization, offers several ways to get involved: make a donation (with tax deductions), become a sponsor, or even join the ranks of volunteers for future events. A simple gesture to help pave the way for tomorrow.
