One of the toughest half marathons in France, but also one of the most beautiful.

The Ardèche Run is not a half marathon like any other. It could even be said that it is a race apart in the world of running:
- One of the most difficult half-marathons in France
- Breathtaking landscapes
- An incredible atmosphere
- A legendary arrival on the Place d’Antraigues
In short, if you have good legs and good shoes, we can only advise you to come and make the asphalt of the Secret Ardèche smoke, every third Saturday in June.
On the course
The Ardèche atmosphere
While the Ardèche Run is a challenge for runners, with its 22km and the famous Côte du Volcan climb between km 10 and 14, it's also a challenge for local spectators, who come every year to defend their title as the best crowd in the world (no, no, we're not being chauvinistic...). Nevertheless, all the women and men who have ever participated in this race say the same thing: " Damn, what an atmosphere! "

Mythical
Arrival at the Antraigues square

As you approach the village, in the last kilometer, the spectators become denser and louder. And yes, in this renowned village, we have a reputation to uphold.
Then comes the climb to the gate, that little street that leaves the road towards the village square. It climbs steeply, but your feet no longer touch the ground because hundreds of wide-open mouths and raised arms push you towards the square.
Finally you see the place open up before your wet eyes (we'll say it's sweat, but in reality you're crying), then that very last bend which places you on the pink carpet of the final straight. Whatever your time, you're acclaimed as the winner and you understand why the Ardèche Run has such a reputation.
Until the end of the night
Big party in the village square

This village square is known for its concert evenings, its memorable festivals, and its friendly and warm atmosphere. So it's only natural that the Ardèche Run doesn't end after the prize-giving ceremony, but much, much later! From 22 p.m., the race turns into a village festival with a concert, refreshments, and quinguettes.
And oddly enough, when it comes to dancing and partying, the legs feel much better.
