Every year, on the last weekend of October, Antraigues awakens to the colors of autumn, bursting with energy. It's time for the Castagnades, an unmissable event that celebrates the chestnut in all its forms, in a warm and festive atmosphere.
In the heart of Autumn
Local producers, artisans, and above all... chestnuts! Roasted, in cream, in cake, in soup, everything comes together to delight the taste buds. And the atmosphere? Friendly, joyful, and festive, with musical entertainment, traditional games, and workshops for young and old. The festive spirit is everywhere, from the village streets to the chestnut stands!

Saturday, October 24
At 11 AM: Opening of the festival in the village square. Celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Ardèche Chestnut PDO.
From 11:30 AM: Light refreshments offered by the Randamont Association in the square.
At 14 PM: Folk dances with the group Lous PASTOURIOS.
At 14 PM: Storytelling nap with Lisa Baissade.
At 2:30 PM: "Discover the chestnut grove" walks with Ardèche Randonnées: 1.5-2 hours, medium difficulty, €3, free for children. Departure from the Maison de la Randonnée (Hiking Center).
At 17:00 AM: Pierre and his barrel organ with Jean-Loup Rossi.
At 18:00 PM: Concert at the church by the St Andéol de Vals Choir.
From 6pm: Ardèche platters on the square.
Dimanche octobre 25
At 9 AM: Free guided hike (2.5-hour circuit, moderate difficulty). Departure from the Hiking Center.
At 10 AM: Jury of the gourmet chestnut challenge with the Ardèche Chestnut Brotherhood.
At 10:30 AM: Grafting demonstration by our chestnut growers.
At 11:30 AM: Pierre and his barrel organ with Jean-Loup Rossi.
From 11:30 AM: Light refreshments offered by the Randamont association, in the square.
From 12pm: Meal featuring local produce at the Christine SEVRES village hall.
At 13:00 PM: Parade of the AUBENAS-VALS LES BAINS HARMONIE in the square.
At 2:30 PM: Guided walks through the chestnut grove with Ardèche Randonnées: 1.5-2 hours, medium difficulty, €3, free for children. Departure from the Maison de la Randonnée (Hiking Center).
At 15 PM: parade of the Ardèche Chestnut Brotherhood and friendly brotherhoods.
At 16 PM: raffle draw.
At 17pm: Chamber music concert at the Saint-Roch chapel with the Katok Ensemble.
RAFFLE TICKETS: Win meals at local restaurants, partners of the festival, and many other prizes of local products.

During the Castagnades festival, the Katok ensemble is organizing a concert at the Saint-Roch chapel!
