In November, for one weekend, Vesseaux dons its most beautiful autumnal colors to welcome the Castagnades. Nestled at the foot of Escrinet, the village, the cradle of Ardèche chestnut groves, invites us to discover the richness of its traditions.
Old stones and roasted chestnuts
In the heart of the village, around the chestnut market, authenticity reigns supreme. Artisans and local producers gather to introduce us to local products, with a special place for chestnuts in all their forms: roasted, in jam, in cakes... The day is punctuated by walks, tastings, and moments of conviviality.

Starting at 9:30 am, free departure from the church square for a walk through the chestnut grove (approximately 10 km, on marked paths). Light refreshments will be available along the way, and a gourmet platter will be served upon arrival.

Concert by the Boutières Men's Choir from Le Cheylard, composed of about fifteen choristers, in the church of Vesseaux (approx. 1 hour)
